Fresh food, fresh start! Natividad’s Farmers’ Market returns April 2
- March 6, 2025

A new season of fresh flavors, nutritious choices and community wellness begins Wednesday, April 2, as Natividad’s Farmers’ Market continues its mission to provide farm-fresh produce, wholesome prepared foods and valuable health resources for all.
Operated by Everyone’s Harvest, the market at 1441 Constitution Blvd., in Salinas, resumes every Wednesday with earlier hours from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm.
“At Natividad, we believe that access to fresh, nutritious food is essential for a healthier community,” said Chief Ancillary and Support Services Officer Andrea Rosenberg. “Our market is more than just a place to shop — it’s a hub for wellness, where fresh food, local businesses and health-conscious resources come together to nourish our community.”
More time, more freshness, more flavor
Refreshed for the season, the market provides an even better experience for shoppers:
- New market hours: Shop and connect with local farmers from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm
- Spring’s best produce: From crisp greens to vibrant berries, seasonal offerings ensure the freshest flavors
- Expanded fresh food selection: A diverse local vendor lineup offers healthy and delicious prepared food options
- Health and wellness focus: Shoppers can learn about nutritious eating, secure easy-to-make healthy recipes and discover ways to incorporate more fresh food into their diet
- Interactive experiences: Live cooking demos, tastings and wellness activities make the market an engaging experience for all ages
Natividad’s Farmers’ Market is a key component of the Fresh Rx Program, which provides fresh produce prescriptions to pediatric patients and their families with or at risk for diet-related chronic diseases. Participants receive vouchers to purchase nutritious foods, supporting healthier lifestyles and long-term well-being.
“We are committed to making fresh food accessible to everyone,” said Rosenberg. “Through Fresh Rx, recipe cards, and interactive wellness initiatives, we’re making it easier for families to eat well and live better.”
