Farmers markets at Salinas’ two hospitals will have their grand openings next week.

SALINAS, CA (May 13, 2015) – Natividad Medical Center’s grand opening on Wednesday, May 20, includes a “Reusable Bag drawing” with the grand prize of a bag filled with fruits, vegetables and flowers, and a seasonal cooking demo at noon with chef Terry Teplitsky from Marina’s Wild Thyme Deli and Cafe. The market runs 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. every Wednesday at 1441 Constitution Blvd.

Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System’s grand opening is Friday, May 22, and will run weekly from 2 to 6 p.m. at 450 E. Romie Lane.
