Dr. Dustan Millward treating patients full-time within hospital specialty clinic

 Salinas, Calif. (September 4, 2018)—Natividad, a community hospital serving Monterey County for more than 132 years, has welcomed Dustan Millward, doctor of podiatric medicine. Dr. Millward will support both inpatient care as well as the D’Arrigo Family Specialty Services at Natividad.

Prior to joining Natividad in July, Dr. Millward served at Truman Medical Center, a county hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. His experience includes foot and ankle trauma, including evaluating injuries in the Emergency Department; and diabetic wound care, including successful prevention of diabetes-related amputationand the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers and associated infections. He is also trained in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, and regularly treats ankle fractures, sprains and other common lower limb injuries.

“Coming from a county hospital, I am thrilled to join Natividad in serving Monterey County’s underserved patient populations,” said Dr. Millward. “I look forward to offering patients in the clinic podiatric care four days a week, with the last day of the week devoted to surgery and other inpatient care at the hospital.”

Dr. Millward joins a growing list of physician specialists serving the D’Arrigo Family Specialty Services clinic. He holds a medical degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Brigham Young University.
