Therapeutics & Diagnostics
Laboratory Services
Our full-service laboratory serves patients staying at the hospital (inpatients) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are available for blood collection, specimen processing, analytical testing, and results reporting. The laboratory uses advanced instrumentation to provide quality analytical results.
We also serve outpatients. Our outpatient laboratory is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. No appointment is necessary for services.
Diagnostic Imaging
The Diagnostic Imaging Department provides inpatient and outpatient radiology studies utilizing leading edge technology including nuclear medicine, fluoroscopic exams, ultrasound, mammography, computerized tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), bone density measurement, and interventional radiology.
Natividad’s Imaging Department is nationally certified by the American College of Radiology in nuclear medicine, mammography, computerized tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
The Diagnostic Imaging Department is committed to achieving ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) to reduce the amount of ionizing a patient receives from imaging procedures. The department uses nationally recognized protocols from the American College of Radiology to achieve the lowest dose possible, while providing the highest quality of imaging.
Our board-certified radiologists are committed to quality imaging services that provide diagnostic information to the referring providers.
The Diagnostic Imaging Department offers walk in and scheduled appointments to meet the needs of our patients.

Therapies can include angioplasty, embolization, drainage, stent placement, and thrombus management, among others. The IR Department works in collaboration with the Natividad Trauma team and Surgical Services to provide immediate medical care for patients experiencing traumatic injuries.

Physical, Occupational, Speech Therapies
Rehabilitation Services
Outpatient rehabilitation services are provided for patients on a referral basis, including physical, occupational, and speech-language therapies. Rehabilitation services provide evaluation and treatment for all ages and physical disabilities. The goal of these services is to restore, maintain and improve the patient’s optimum level of self-care, responsibility, independence and quality of life after experiencing an injury or illness.
We also have an inpatient program for patients who need more intensive rehabilitation. These services are offered through the Sam Karas Acute Rehabilitation Center.
