Level II Trauma Center

Natividad is home to Monterey County’s only Trauma Center. We provide excellent, life-saving care to all patients, and offer a full range of services.

Natividad has ten intensive care beds, a step-down unit and a medical-surgical unit, all staffed by educated and competent nurses specially trained in the care of trauma patients. We provide multidisciplinary patient-centered care, 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Our trauma team includes a group of trauma surgeons double boarded in critical care and general acute care surgery, and trauma nurse practitioners.
